All kinds of medications are added to feedstuffs now days. Sometimes it's hard to find feed that isn't already laced with some type of drug. This can't be that good for us to consume on a regular basis.
That's why some people choose to buy straight from the farm. By purchasing this way, one tries to avoid these drugs and other additives. Even then questions regarding the health and feeding of the animals need to be asked prior to purchase in order to be safe.
We take pride in raising our animals naturally without administering unnecessary drugs or other feed additives.
We raise pigs, chickens, and rabbits on approximately 3 acres of our family cotton farm. We also sell to the local public and eggs produced by our chickens have become in great demand.
The production of this small venture is mostly used to feed our 3 families and has become an enjoyable part of our every day lives. Our desire is to slowly grow this operation into a small yet productive portion of our farm.
We have received very good feedback from our local community. Word spreads quickly when you are providing a good healty product that is above the normal standard of what can be found at your local retail grocery store.
